Finding Us
Ascent Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Centre is based in Star Yard, Barnard Castle, Co. Durham, DL12 8LY. Barnard Castle. Barnard Castle is located in central Teesdale, with convenient access from north and south via the A1(M) and from the west via the A66.
Once you arrive in Barnard Castle, we are located behind Morrisons supermarket. Star Yard itself is a small alleyway situated off the main street - Horsemarket - between Greggs and Hamilton's shoe shop. Once in Star Yard you will notice the signs for the practice on the left-hand side (approaching from Horsemarket).
There is some free parking on the main street (Horsemarket and the adjoining Market Place), and there is a council car park around Morrisons just adjacent to the practice. For people who are in a lot of pain or who have difficulty walking this is the best place to park, as we also have a ramp for easy wheelchair access.
If you plan to park in the car park, remember to bring change for the parking fee, which is 80p for 1 hour. There is no charge in the car park after 6.00 pm.

Local taxi services are available to bring you right to the door and pick you up when your treatment is complete if this is more convenient. You are welcome to have a cup of coffee or tea
